Is it because it’s super easy to make? Could it be because it taste soooo good? Is it both?! Well you gotta try it out for yourself and tell me!
We’ve made this recipe three times already this month, and we eat an entire loaf within a day! (And by “we” I mean “I“ eat the whole thing! DON”T JUDGE ME JUDY!) I
It’s moist, full of flavour, and like my mom says, “Slather it with butter so it slides down!”
Enough of my rambling, here is the recipe:
Ingredients
2 cups all purpose flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
1 1/2 cup mashed bananas (about 3)
1/3 cup yogurt
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup walnuts
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350F and line a loaf pan with parchment.
2. Sift together dry ingredients and set aside.
3. Cream butter and sugar, then add eggs one at a time.
4. Add remaining ingredients and stir until batter is just combined. You don’t want to overtax!
5. Pour into pan and bake for approx. 1 hour or until a wooden pick comes out clean.
6. Let cool and ENJOY!!
